King Pin style pedestals and bases have been found in fishing boats over the last 25 years. King Pin Offset style bases are used when the application calls for the pedestal to be offset from the center of the base. King Pin pedestals are rated Class B by ABYC which means that they are designed for occupancy only at boat speeds not exceeding 5mph.
