GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT ORDERING CAREFREE ADD-A-ROOMS: Ordering information: Standard ADD-A-ROOM always measures 1'-6" shorter than stated size. Stated room sizes correspond to awning sizes. To purchase a full size room for an 18' awning, order and 18' ADD-A-ROOM, which will measure 1'-6" shorter, or 16'-6". This allows the awning canopy to overhang the ADD-A-ROOM at each end. You can also select a room that is any size shorter than the full length of your awning, for example a 14' room for a 20' awning (actual room would be 12'-6" long). NOTE: While Carefree ADD-A-ROOMs are the very best you can buy, and really help to keep the bugs out, we cannot guarantee a 100% seal due to variations in installation and RV side-wall contours. Sturdy side panel support rafters with brackets provide a better, stronger seal, because room does not attach to the awning canopy. 9. No flimsy crutch tips that can dent or damage your coach. 10.
